Lakefield by lembos-hauser
This is my first city after a long time. It all started on this small island in the river. From there there was a constant organic grow.
At this point this city has roughly 100.000 Inhabitants and some nice quarters:
Get educated at the famous Lakefield Campus University. We offer a medical, law and science faculty as well as six modern dormitories and two study and banquet halls for your thesis celebration.
Do hard work in one the Industry Parks: go for Oil, Wood, Farming or general Industry.
Do some sports: the LCU Buccaneers offer a variety of stadiums: Basket Ball, American Football, Olympics, Baseball and Swimming.
Enjoy the afternoon in the central Lakefield Zoo next to the Old Town, or have some fun at the Luna Park in the modern Quarter Hawthorne Main.
Spend the weekend at the Lakefield Nationalpark right next to the Big Crater at Vanilla Quarter.
Go for a walk from the IT Quarter over the South Bridge right into the LCU Quarter and enjoy the Museum of Modern Art.
Drink some mulled wine at the Romantic Christmas Market in Kings Hights.
Attend a concert of a famous singer at the Concert Hall right in the middle of Flower Hills and the Financial District.
Drive past the infamous Prison Island with your car – but dont leave the highway!
Experience one of the most developed areas: the Buisiness Parks. Here you will find everything, including a small Football Stadium, the Aquarium, the EXPO Centre, the LCU Olympica and LCU Baseball Stadiums as well as access to the North Walk Link path, which leads you right into the nature.
If you fell overwhelmed, dont worry: Our city has a great traffic policy which normally guarantees a flow of over 75%. If you dont like to use a car, got by one of the eight efficient Metro Lines, eight Ferry Lines, 15 Tram Lines and 13 Bus Lines – or just use the bycicle – a vast number of dedicated paths will make you trip even more lovely.
But no the cons: Of course, the source of oil and iron was not there where it is now. Death waves are horrible, this town has to suffer a lot from them. The profit is kind of unstable – there was a time when we could spend a lot of extra money on education and sports, now we really have to save it and even do the tax push to the max sometimes.
Maybe you find a way, to help this city?
